Dean has been writing songs since the early age of fourteen when he first picked up the guitar.

His own brand of music has a wide range of influences and genre's musically laced through it, with a combination of folk, rock and blues and at times with a hint of jazz in the chord progressions.

Dean is a very gifted Musician, playing Electric and Acoustic guitars (Not at the same time..ha ha..) and he has a very unique voice. His sound is quite distinctive.

Dean has been performing his original music for more than five years, playing to appreciative audiences at Original Music Venues in Sydney, Australia.

Recently returned from tour dates in LA(USA) in April/May 2008, performing at: The Pig and Whistle, The Stone both venues in Hollwood. World Cafe and The Talking Stick, both in Santa Monica. Also performing at the infamous 'Kulaks Woodshed', which is streamed live to the world wide web for each performance. Dean was also accompanied by fellow countrymen 'Chuksingh' also playing Guitar and vocals, brilliantly.
